Cease and Desist Order
Notice is hereby given to all persons practicing traditional naturopathy within the jurisdiction of the United States to cease and desist practicing traditional naturopathy unless they hold a license issued by the Naturopathic National Council, Inc. to practice traditional naturopathy. The unauthorized practice of traditional naturopathy constitutes a violation of Federal Trademark Registration No 3,047,099; therefore, any unlicensed person who provides traditional naturopathic services with the trademark removed, are pretending to be authorized to practice traditional naturopathy under this trademark and will be subject to civil prosecution under the rules of Fair Competition and Reverse Passing Off, under §43(a) of the Lanham Act.
